Spiritual Content
The book follows a plot interwoven with Christianity as Parvin learns to trust God.
There is a group of people who worship plant life / creation rather than the creator, but Parvin is outspoken about it being wrong.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
It was a little slow through the first half. Parvin can be a dunce at times. It seemed like it wanted to lean into the literary side of things, but I feel it didn’t do well. Overall, a good read.
