Substance Use
This is a little complicated, so bear with me. There’s an in-world substance that is used habitually by characters to use magic (which is why I chose to label it as OTC). It’s not a drug per se, but a character abuses it in the same way drugs are. It seems to give them a high and addiction.
Sexual Content
MMC resuscitates FMC with mouth-to-mouth after she drowns on sand.
Violence
There is a scene where a character finds a pool of blood.
Spiritual Content
The FMC’s internal struggle is about serving the God when pressured to worship a god(s). There are false gods that are worshipped. Blood sacrifices are made unto the false gods, though nothing happens; the sacrifices don’t work.
There is beetle-derived elemental magic: pyro, hydro, aero, nix, and chronos.
